CopperRange.org was created by Kevin E. Musser, whom we have learned, passed away on September 4, 2007.   He created it in order to share the history of the Copper Range Railroad, Copper Range Consolidated Company, as well as the rest of Michigan's Copper Country. In Kevin's words, "I am an Amateur Industrial Archaeologist, model builder and just plain enjoy this area known as the Keweenaw Peninsula.   This site contains 110 "pages" and includes over 950 photographs (as of March 2005), so sit back, grab a cup of coffee and I hope you enjoy your visit".   Kevin's passion was the Copper Country: its rich history and its beauty.   He truly enjoyed sharing his knowledge with everyone.   His site is preserved courtesy pastey.com as a permanent archive reference, in memory of Kevin Musser.   Our condolences go out to his family.

Copper Country Reflections contains a variety of photographs, postcards, Copper Country historical items plus many other things that will hopefully bring back some fond memories.   With over 1000 images, it is an impressive effort by host Chuck Voelker, which has been over five years in the making.   The photographs are indexed by area, and the site also provides a great deal of history and information about the many different mining companies that were chartered by the Michigan Legislature to mine copper in the Upper Peninsula.
